  Great location to immerse yourself in history and still be close to wineries

  Liked: Great location in the Old Town. Really good to walk outside door and wander the streets, have coffee and walk to dinner. Washing machine meant we could clean our travelling clothes. Lots of room.

  Disliked: Linen and towels need an upgrade.

  Living like a local in the centre of San Gimignano

  Liked: The living room and bedroom are large and airy. The kitchen was well equipped. The apartment is in a beautiful little street very close to the centre of the old town.

  Great location and comfortable accommodation

  Liked: We absolutely LOVED staying at Il Capitello! The location was really great and our host Susanna was very accommodating and responsive to all our queries. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the culture and village of San Gimignano.

  Location, location and no stairs

  Liked: Great location in the old town with no stairs! Just around the corner from the Piazza. Very roomy with a kitchen and fullsize fridge but limited cooking utensils.
