  A lovely place to relax and enjoy plus really near San Gimignano

  Awesome location and a very nice host

  Liked: The location is right in the middle of vineyards and olive tree plantations, on the sunny hills of Tuscany, close to San Gimignano, a great base for explorations by car. The rooms looked clean and well maintained and the pool seemed very inviting.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, the room we rented was too small for us (two adults with a teenager) so we had to cancel the stay. Manfredi, the host, was very accommodating to make an exception and allow us to cancel penalty-free although we booked a “no cancellation” policy. He was also very nice and helped us locate a more suitable place so we could better enjoy our holiday. Thank you very much, sir!

  Home away from home

  Liked: Everything was absolutely perfect. A beautiful historic tuscan house, Mr Manfredi took a great care of us, we felt like we were visiting a friend. Not to forget his two furry supervisors - Ginger and Macchia.

  Beautiful and welcoming agriturismo

  Liked: The position in the green, the well kept and studied details, the beautiful pool and the welcoming hospitality of the owner, Manfredi, were really exceptional. We felt like at home! Very close also to San Gimignano, just a few minutes by car. Recommended!

  Liked: Manfredi (the human) works for the owners Macchia and Ginger (the cats), and he is a kind man who runs a special 250 year old villa (and the surrounding land) that has been in his family just as long. Less than 2 miles from the gate to San Gimignano, Rocca is a welcoming place that can be used as a base to explore the area, whether you're traveling by car or bicycle. Rocca is the perfect place to get away from the day tourist traffic heavy center of San Gimignano, but close enough to go there for dinner when the time comes. Manfredi speaks several languages and makes a great cup of coffee to go with the vast and varied breakfast he sets up himself. Rocca is in a great location to enjoy a glass (or bottle) of wine near the pool at sunset, or a glass of juice or coffee during breakfast. You will not be disappointed! Enjoy!

  Liked: Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The accommodation is set in a beautiful surrounding, and the design of the place — along with its unique and original touches — was truly impressive. Even though we only stayed for one night, we managed to relax completely and recharge. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We would definitely recommend this place!
