  Liked: Beautiful hotel, in a prominent location overlooking the lake. Great selection for breakfast with plenty of options. Friendly attentive staff.

  Disliked: It would have been nice to have tea/ coffee making facilities in the room and bottled water on arrival.

  Wonderful location

  Liked: The location was perfect, our room was stunning with an equally stunning bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. The breakfast buffet was excellent. There's a spa downstairs, which looked fabulous. The staff in the dining room were very attentive as were the housekeeping staff. There are two restaurants. The views of the lake were stunning.

  Disliked: A couple of the reception staff showed little interest when told of a snag and we were never asked if we enjoyed our stay, they just gave us the bill. €28 for a bowl of French onion soup, albeit with foie gras seemed extortionate. Part of the canopy above the bed in our room had detached, this is an expensive hotel and small details like this should be addressed.

  Very glamorous and amazing views across lake

  Liked: Very glamorous and opulent. Great spa and fabulous breakfast buffet

  Disliked: They charge you if you use/move anything in the fridge so can’t put own water/drinks in there. Given the money we paid that was a shame. Also no bottled water or tea/coffee facilities in room.
