Let’s correct this over-rated lodging
Liked: The host was polite, location is great. But is that enough?
Disliked: Just look at the pictures: Cracks in the bath. Dirt on the switches. Rust on the pipes. Everything was old, misfit, almost dangerous. Doors were … 1,6m high. Bath was … 0,6m wide This property should not be allowed to host guests. This is Western Europe, not Nepal (which I otherwise love).
Amazing, excellent location and no big complications
Liked: The building is located right in the little Old Town part of the city, which provides you with quite a comfortable spot to move from. The building is a charming, 18th century construction that has been well adapted.
Liked: Large clean room. A bit cold in the winter- must be very comfortable when the weather gets warmer.
Disliked: The shower cubicle is ridiculously small.
Roomy spot in a perfect location
Liked: The room was HUGE for one person and well appointed. Plenty of space and storage. The bathroom was across the hall and was adequate size. The shower was on the smaller side but functional enough. The hosts were very helpful and communicative, they took great care of me. There is a shared common area with a full size fridge for food storage. The breakfast was a ticket to use anywhere in the area which was convenient. The location of the room is in the centro storico with so much to do all around the place. Steps from attractions and evening activities.

Confortevole, punto strategico, stanza molto grande
Liked: The location of the B&B Il Tulipano is perfect. A magnificent experience, in the pulsating heart of the ancient old city of Taranto, next to the Aragonese Castle and a stone's throw from VIA DUOMO. The location allows guests to enjoy all the wonders of the Old City of Taranto. It is an island connected to the mainland by two bridges: the Ponte di Pietra and the Ponte Girevole. It is a historic center with over 2700 years of history, with hypogea, noble palaces and churches. It is also known as "Taranto Vecchia" and is the fourth largest historic center in Puglia.
