Exceptional
Liked: Guido is very nice host. He answered every question immediately, gives a lot of recommendation and was very helpful. The apartment is nice and cozy with a view at the see. There are a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood. We are very happy with this small vacation.

A wonderful place to stay in Taranto - away from the tourists
Liked: So much to love about the property! We were 4 people and rented both flats. Having 2 full-size beds, 2 washrooms and the roof patio was a real luxury. The house has everything you need if you’re not going to do major amounts of cooking. The location is amazing - in the heart of the old city (Città vecchia). You won’t find many tourists here - and this was our goal. There are plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and things to visit, without feeling like we were amongst hoards of tourists. The host is wonderful - very responsive and generous with dining suggestions.
Disliked: Not a criticism, and more FYI: The loft bedroom and washroom in the lower flat (without the roof patio) have low ceilings. In the loft, this will mean gently getting into bed so you don’t bump your head on the wooden beams. In the washroom you may have to hunch just when you use the sink (ceilings are higher in shower and toilet areas).

Cosy and convenient with a fantastic host
Liked: Il Palazzino is in a perfect location where you can walk to all the main parts of Taranto and you have a sea view. It is small and quirky with all the amenities you need and Guido the host was extremely helpful and sent links for restaurants and activities.
Disliked: It is a small one bed studio with a bed on a mezzanine just below the ceiling so it is easy to bang your head getting in and out of bed! Also the ceiling is very low in the bathroom with the same issues.
Host Guido was very accommodating. Very friendly and helpful. Located near train station and pizzeria at the bottom. Apa

Disliked: Getting in and out of the bed was a bit of an issue with the low ceiling
