Exceptional
Liked: Stayed there for one night, we liked the spacious bathroom, and the manager's attitude. We stayed at the ground floor which had a private patio which was a nice bonus. Also complementary espresso and sweet treats were included in the room. The location was very close to the train station and not too far from the airport.
Disliked: There wasn't a window in our room so we had to open up the patio door at night when it got a bit warm for sleep. My partner was covered in bite marks the next day, it seemed like a bug had gotten in overnight. There was an A/C in the room, but we didn't want to turn it on as it was late October and quite cool outside.
Good location but don't be fooled by "breakfast included"
Liked: The lady out the front was extremely friendly and helpful. Location is great and close to the train station and local transport.
Disliked: We purposefully booked a "breakfast included" stay through booking.com and when we got there they sold it as "we upgraded you and weren't meant to give you this" and even then, it was store bought pastries in plastic wrapping. As far as a "breakfast included" stay is greatly missed the mark. Beds were quite uncomfortable and gave me hip and neck issues.
Liked: Great location near the train and ferry stations, but also not in the thick of the most touristy areas! Nina and everyone who works there were amazing; so welcoming, communicative, and personable. It was very helpful to be able to store my bag for a few hours at the end of my stay!
It was a good experience, but not the best; I think there is a lot for improvement
Liked: Staff friendly and kind. The price was good in good location.
Disliked: The bathroom was quite uncomfortable. To get there, you had to climb a very narrow wooden staircase, which was impractical and especially inconvenient at night. In addition, the bathroom area was very hot and poorly ventilated. This is an aspect the hotel should improve to provide guests with greater comfort.
Highly recommend this stay!
Liked: Really spacious, great shower, life saving air conditioning, really nice location - away from the hustle and bustle but not too far walking distance or to the water bus stop. Nina was a wonderful host and made our stay really special
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: Nina was very welcoming to us. We were early to Venice and she allowed us to check-in early at no extra cost. We did not buy breakfast but she has prepared us a little surprise which was very nice. The room was very comfortable and the area is very peaceful. Location was near to the train station and we had to cross just one bridge to get there.
