An Extremely Disappointing Stay – Poor Comfort, Service, and Value for Money
Disliked: An Extremely Disappointing Stay – Poor Comfort, Service, and Value for Money We paid €600 for a three-night stay, yet this turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel failed to meet even the most basic expectations of comfort and service, making our stay thoroughly unpleasant. Our biggest disappointment was the room itself. The air conditioning was centrally controlled by reception, leaving us unable to adjust the temperature ourselves. The room was excessively cold, and despite repeatedly going downstairs to ask the staff to switch off the air conditioning, it automatically restarted approximately 30 minutes later. This continued throughout our stay, leaving us freezing during the night. Adding to the discomfort, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and none of us managed to get a proper night’s sleep. Making matters worse, the telephone in our room did not work, so we could not contact reception directly. We therefore had to go downstairs every time we needed assistance, and no effective solution was offered. It is difficult to understand how such basic issues could remain unresolved throughout a three-night stay. Breakfast was another disappointment. The selection was extremely limited, there were no local Italian specialities, and the same items appeared every morning. At €15 per person, the breakfast was certainly not worth the price. What made the experience even more frustrating was the hotel’s approach to luggage storage. We were asked to pay an additional fee simply to leave our luggage after checkout. While hotels may have different policies, I would reasonably expect a property charging these rates to provide such a basic service as a courtesy to its guests. I expected a reasonable standard of accommodation and hospitality. Instead, we experienced repeated discomfort, unresolved problems, poor value for money, and additional charges for basic services.

Liked: View was fantastic. Breakfast was good with a lot of options. Shower was very good.
Disliked: Located on laguna, which has limited dining options. Room was cold, the thermostat did not do anything
Lovely stay even with the aircon issue
Liked: Lovely hotel, staff were lovely. Breakfast was very nice with lots of choices.
Disliked: The only thing I didn’t like was the air conditioner which creaked constantly Keeping me awake for most of the night.
Liked: We didn’t choose the Seaview room but they gave us seaview room and it was perfect, staff’s behavior was perfect and the breakfast was excellent 👌
Perfect venice escape
Liked: Loved the location as its easy to navigate to with luggage and then get the boat into the main centre really easily. The bedrooms were simply but comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection.
