Liked: Perfect base, close to St Mark's square. Modern rooms. Good continental breakfast. Lovely hotel, comfortable beds.

Liked: Amazing location in the heart of the old town close to St Mark’s. Very clean.
Disliked: The rooms were quite small but adequate and very clean. No space in the hotel to relax anywhere - felt a bit cramped but if all you want is a place to sleep then it’s fine in a good place. Breakfast was adequate.

Decent hotel not too far from San Zaccaria boat landing point
Liked: The room was small but comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ample and varied.
Disliked: The last morning, I needed to get from the hotel to the train station and asked the staff on duty to reserve a private water taxi (small boat) for me. He told me that it would be 105 Euros and that I needed to pay the hotel that amount in cash. I didn't have an alternative, so I gave him 105 Euros in cash. I'm virtually certain that the real cost was less and that he pocketed a good percentage of that amount. When the time came for me to go, he did help me with my suitcases to the boat.
