Very good
Fine, but not ideal; problematic key system
Liked: - The location on a quiet Fondamenta in Cannaregio, less than 5 min walk to more busy areas - Place was clean - Everything that was listed in the amenities was there (including a washing machine which was working well)
Disliked: - The communication was erratic - I had to remind several times that I hadn’t received the check-in link, the link was sent through WhatsApp, not Booking at first; no responses to my questions about the access to Venice tax and exemptions from it due to staying and paying the city tax; information about trash collection was incorrect and detailed info came too late. When I tried to call, noone picked up and there was an automatic responded. - There is no real key to the apartment, at all times it needs to be unlocked with a link that requires a good internet connection to work. The internet connection in the building is not great, so in several occasions we needed to try unlocking 2-5 times before it worked. Unclear what to do if left without a working phone. - While all the amenities were there, there were none of the things that would make the stay more comfortable - not even coffee, salt, laundry detergent etc., we had to buy these things for our 3 night stay and leave them in the apartment barely used. - The pictures in the listing make the place look larger and nicer than it is - the canal view is from the street where the building entrance is, not the apartment, the “terrace” is basically a fenced part of the yard that everyone living in the building walks past, the entrance to the apartment is directly into the living room, next to the sofa. Nothing bad, just from the photos we expected a slightly more comfortable layout for 3 people. - Generally for this price it is possible to find better equipped or slightly more spacious places in Venice, this did not seem like great value for money.
Good Location
Liked: Good location, walking distance to most central places in Venice and close to the water taxi when arriving from Marco Polo airport. However when arriving late at night its isolated so if you prefer a more lively area than maybe not for you Beds were comfy, room was basic and a little dull but overall fine if you are only staying 1 or 2 nights and out most of the day, otherwise id prefer a more welcoming place

Very nice appartment, location is convinient
Liked: Apartment is far from noisy streets, but still close to all necessary tourist attractions. There was tea and sugar, so we have ability to warm up after check-in just after airport in cold winter time. Self check in was very convenient.
Disliked: Pillows were quite big, so had some neck pain after few nights. It would be nice to have salt as well.
Very disappointed
Disliked: While the location was convenient, our stay was unfortunately disappointing for several reasons. The listing mentioned a dishwasher, but there was none. Worse, many of the dishes were greasy and didn’t seem properly washed. There was no hot water during our stay, and when we contacted the host, they said someone would come to check — but no one ever showed up before we checked out. A mosquito repellent device was plugged in, but it was empty. Unsurprisingly, we were bitten on our faces during the night. The private garden was one of the reasons we chose this place, but it turned out to be completely exposed, with all the apartment windows looking into it. It didn’t feel usable or private at all. These issues, combined with the lack of any staff presence or meaningful communication, made our experience very disappointing. We hope the host takes this feedback seriously for future guests.
Perfect location from busy streets and minutes away from water bus stop, we used every day
Liked: Location is perfect in a quiet neighbourhood, it is close to vaporetto stop, two bridges away from shop and cafe. Property has private terrace, which is separated from walking path by fence. Everything is on the first floor. Charming Venetian terrazzo floor. There is small kitchen area with everything you may need, air conditioning, washing machine.
Disliked: We stayed in the end of May, maybe it depends on season, but there were a lot of mosquitos, so we wouldnt open windows at all. So no fresh air, and no views to terrace. Still somehow they sliped in and our small child got bitten. Mosquito net would help. Walls need cleaning from mosquitos slapped bodies, shower hoose wasn’t very clean, which we comunicated to host, everyting else was spotless.
