Good
If you need an airport overnight stay this is a basic but clean hotel
Liked: The best thing about the hotel is the great location - we arrived at midnight and the cab only took ten minutes to Casa del Miele where we were met by Enrico who graciously checked us in at such a late hour. If you just need to stay close to the airport this is a perfect option, especially as the next morning Enrico showed us the bus stop to Venice which is literally right outside!
Disliked: Ok, so it's a simple price for a simple hotel. The beds are basic and not hugely comfortable and we had a shared bathroom but it was spotlessly clean. This place is all about the location.
Liked: Enrico was very helpful and hospitable and we spent a quiet peaceful night. Casa del Miele is only 5 minutes from the airport which was a perfect location after a long flight. The gardens are beautiful and the security gate made us feel protected. Highly recommended!
Disliked: No nearby restaurants within walking distance, but excellent pizza delivery is available.
Ok just for 1 night
Liked: Just 5 minutes far away from Marco Polo airport with the airport shuttle. For us it was ok just for 1 night (6 hours) particularly staying because we had a flight at 05:00 so we hadn't had breakfast. Spacious room.
Disliked: Bed wasn't so good. The bath was slippery so you have to be very careful. Prepare to avoid mosquitos using a spray for sure.
Basic, value accommodation with a very nice host
Liked: Lovely host helpful with lifts
Disliked: Nowhere to eat a meal as on Monday only restaurant closed so only alternative was Venice Casino - not a good experience that cost 5 euro to get in. Water, tea or coffee would have been good.
Liked: Close to the airport
Disliked: No place to eat except a casino near by
Liked: Enrico was great!
Disliked: Bed was too hard
