Authentic medieval palazzo with luxurious amenities in a great location
Liked: I was looking for an authentic medieval Venice palazzo, and that's what we got – beautiful architecture right at the intersection of small canals where gondolas passed by all day, dark brown wooden beamed ceiling, luxurious amenities, even a happy hour with a bottle of sparkling wine, fruit and cookies. Breakfast was nice. There're a great cafe and a good restaurant behind the hotel, at the canal - both belonging to the same group. Very professional and helpful staff (let us into our room way before official check-in time, let us leave our bags at the reception after check-out, gave us good tips, etc.). And the main strongpoint - the hotel feels like it's far away in the depths of the old town, but actually, it's just some 6 minutes walking from the main Vapporetto piers. Very comfortable to take a boat to Lido, around the city or to the railway station. San Marco sq is also close, but the largest tourist masses seem not reach the hotel, fortunately. Plenty of cosy restaurants close by at streets and canals around the hoitel.

Liked: Location in Venice and hotel quality. friendly staff from the moment we arrived and helpful with arranging transport for a seamless journey to and from Venice airport. Great restaurants nearby and all the sights close to hand
