Exceptional
Although only minutes from St Mark's Square, the guesthouse is a little oasis of peace and quiet

Disliked: The room was very old, and everything was heavily worn, making it uncomfortable to use. The mattresses were extremely worn out, and it was impossible to sleep comfortably. The baby cot did not have a proper mattress, only a thin duvet, which made it impossible for a baby to sleep safely and comfortably. When we arrived in the room, the pillows smelled unwashed, so we asked for them to be replaced. On the first night, we had to sleep with only a thin blanket, and there were no extra blankets or duvets in the wardrobe in case we felt cold. We had to request one before they brought us a duvet. In the morning, it was impossible to sleep after 7 a.m. because the kitchen where breakfast was prepared was directly opposite our room. Every noise and conversation among the staff could be clearly heard inside the room.

Liked: It was beautiful, comfortable and in a great location. Giada and Andrea were so kind and helpful, they both gave us great recommendations for restaurants and gelato of course. Gelateria il Pingüino was fantastic! Best gelato I had during our Italian vacation. A lot of walking and a lot of stairs but so worth the stay.

Liked: Locanda Ca Formosa turned out to be a nice surprise, we booked it last minute and did not expect much, but despite being very simple, it turned out to be very welcoming and warm, it was very clean, even though the facilities were not new, we could see the care that went into the place. Location was a treat, in the quiet neighbourhood, no noice overnight, no crowds, and yet around the corner was Maria Formosa square with cafes and restaurants anf kids running around. Walkable anywhere with plenty of restaurants around.
Good to know
Rooms in the main building are located at 3rd and 4th floor without elevator. Rooms located in the Dependence are located at first floor.
