Beware of BED BUGS and mosquitoes!
Liked: Location was good
Disliked: Staff is not responsive. The a/c is a weird system that supposedly works through the floor but it didn’t work and the apartment was hot. We asked for maintenance but no help was given. Because we had to leave the windows open we were infested with mosquitoes. The beds were awful. The foot of the beds turned upward about 4”. Very old, lumpy and saggy. Worst problem was discovered our last morning. We were all eaten alive by bed bugs. Our faces and arms are covered in bites. Our two year old grandson is covered in bites and I have 28 on my face alone. I looked diseased while traveling home. A doctor confirmed it’s bed bugs. In visits to over 55 countries we have never encountered bed bugs except here. I texted the staff and haven’t even received a reply. Apartment is damp. Towels never dried. Shower leaks horribly so floor was always wet. No dryer so the clothes we washed on day 1 were still wet when we packed to leave on day 3 evening. Horrible experience!
I would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect
Liked: The location was great, the apartment had great amenities, the linen and the bedding was very comfortable.
Disliked: The apartment was initially very hard to find. And GPS doesn’t work perfectly in Venice. Once you understand where and how to access the apartment there were no further issues. This is not the properties fault however, mosquitoes are in Venice and with the windows open with no screens when we arrived there were a few mosquitoes in the apartment.
Liked: The best place if you want to go to Venice. Personally, Venice is not in my favorite place to spend a vacation. It is very commercialized, and people are not friendly. It is all about making more money and not sincere. I am sorry about writing this, but it is true. But if you want to go to Venice don't think twice this place is in the best location and big modern and clean, I strongly recommend it.
Disliked: Getting to the place, we had some luggage and as I said people are not very helpful and kind in Italy. We had a tough time moving our luggage in the uneven surface streets, and we're exhausted by the time we got to our place.
great location but not great value for money
Liked: location, friendly staff of the related hotel. Spacious rooms and living room.
Disliked: not at all a luxury property, actually quite basic style and furniture. It is quite old and beaten up. Clean but could be cleaner.
