Liked: Breakfast was fantastic, great continental style with lots of options. The room was a perfect size for a couple and we had a large closet to store our luggage and hang up clothes.
Disliked: Being in Venice for the 1st time no one had warmed us about mosquitos at all. Our room was ground level, maybe that made it worse? I have never scratched mosquito bites for 1 week before, they were bad for my husband and I. It really surprised me, we didn't see any in the daytime (only at night!!). The hotel is right by the canal so perhaps the mosquitos are worse by the canal. We found our room to be hot and stuffy so we opened the windows the 1st evening we arrived, there is an AC unit, but it wasn't working great, (we found out afterwards that it was actually a dehumidifier). Anyway, perhaps screens on the windows would be a good deterrent? Or a better ventilation system would be appreciated for future guests so the windows don't need to be opened at all, if that's an option.

Disliked: Squeaky bathroom door! No blanket or comforter on the bed (but we did search and found one). Otherwise a very satisfying and comfortable stay. Thank you!

Disliked: The room could be a little bigger. We couldn’t open the suitcases on the floor as there was no room.
Liked: Great location, friendly staff, room spacious.
Disliked: Felt expensive for the room which was at street level so lacked privacy.
Liked: Good location in Venice and very nice breakfast. Our room across from reception was very small and felt a little like a storage room converted into a room. Our window was at ground level looking onto the square, so we didn’t want to open it or pull the curtains back. The room was clean and comfortable, it just would have been nicer to have been on a higher floor.
