  Liked: The building is a beautiful romanesque style with great access to resturants, shops, churches and tourist sites. The room was tastefully decorated with antiques that suit the style. Our host was so kind and extremely helpful. He went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. Great spot!

  Disliked: The shower is a little small but similar to many in historic areas.

  Liked: We were leaving early so we got a voucher for breakfast at a nearby cafe since breakfast was later. Great location. Would stay again. Super friendly staff.

  A magnificent gem

  Liked: I had been walking the Via Francigena from Lucca to Rome. I was travelling alone as a single woman and it was off season so no pilgrims on the road. I arrived in Viterbo and fell madly in love with the town and to my absolute delight La Fontaine was STUNNING! Stefania the host is incredible -a very warm and beautiful lady! For me this was exactly what I needed as and I had felt isolated at times and to be greeted with kindness is a simple but powerful gift. The accommodation was magnificent. I felt like I was staying in a 5 star hotel! Luxurious on every level. What was also wonderful was that there was a beautiful living area you could sit and relax and this was so comfortable. You are right in the heart of Viterbo. Breakfast was lovely - just a quick walk around the corner and the croissant was one of the best I have had on my travels. I highly recommend La Fontaine.

  Comfortable and friendly atmosphere and great location

  Liked: The location was perfect. They were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived at an odd time of day and they were happy to feed us in their restaurant below. They also provided parking for our car. Just let them know ahead of time that you will need a parking spot.

  Viterbo is a great location to explore this part of Italy and this the perfect Airbnb to do it from. This B&B

  Liked: Stephanie-the owner was very friendly and helpful. The location was superb- minutes from the Palazo dei Papu and the San pelligrino neighborhood. It is in a building that dates from 1200. The breakfast was everything one could expect.

  Disliked: The first night we got to park next to the B&B. On the second night we were asked to park in the public parking lot in Via Faul. While the parking lot is only 8-10 walk away getting our bags there the day we checked out was a bit of a challenge because it was hard rolling them on cobbled streets. If you have heavy or large suitcases you should make alternative arrangements with Stephanie. Also the elevator to the parking doesn’t work before 730am so an early departure would be a problem.
