  A convenient location, but communication, comfort, and overall value for money need significant improvement

  Liked: The location is convenient and the room was reasonably spacious. The host eventually responded when contacted, and the property was adequate for a short stay.

  Disliked: The check-in experience was disappointing. Before arrival, I received instructions only in Italian asking me to call upon arrival to gain access. As I don’t speak Italian, I had to ask an Italian friend to contact the host on my behalf. Despite informing the host of my arrival time in advance, I received no guidance or accommodation. The official check-in time of 2:00 PM also felt quite late. The air conditioning could only be controlled by the host, which was inconvenient, especially during the summer heat. The bed was uncomfortable, and the red bedspread felt rough and did not give the impression of being freshly cleaned. Considering the overall experience, I did not find the price (€70 per night) to represent good value. A comparable B&B where my Italian friend stayed cost around €30 per night and even included breakfast.

  A great place to stay in Viterbo

  Liked: Easy walk from train. Great location to explore town. Easy access to room. Clean and comfortable. Host easy to reach and quick to respond. Definitely plan to stay again

  Disliked: A b&b without breakfast. Not a huge deal as great coffee across the street.
