  Amazing location, excellent hosts, superb value for money

  Liked: This place was a real hidden gem, I wish we had stayed longer! The host, Virginia and her Son met us at the property to hand over the keys (to the room and the vehicle gate). Everything was very well organised. The apartment we had was in lovely condition, very clean and tidy when we arrived. The kitchen facilities were good and a BBQ is available if required. The view and the sunsets from this property are really amazing. We used the swimming pool, this was always clean and tidy and the grounds very well maintained. The location of the property is excellent as it is only a 5 minute drive from a supermarket (Pewex) and the centre of Viterbo. Our hosts gave us some good recommendations for free parking in the city as well as restaurants.

  A cool green oasis in scorching-hot Italy

  Liked: Villa degli Ulivi was a lovely oasis of calm and greenery in the scorching hot summer. Despite the generally high temperatures we managed perfectly well without using the air conditioning since the nights were so much cooler and the apartment stayed nice throughout the day. The apartment is well equipped, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had it cleaned every three days (which included having our children's plush toys neatly arranged). We also received fresh towels and bed linen, which was very kind. Viterbo is perfect for making trips to countless pretty towns near and far, and you can also make a day trip to Rome by train. But not going anywhere is fine, as the pool is large enough for a proper swim and will keep the children occupied throughout the day. There are also plenty of shaded areas at the property to spend the day outstide.

  Disliked: There wasn't anything major to complain about. It would have been nice to have a sofa in the apartment, but there probably isn't enough space for one. Another thing that couldn't be helped: it would have been great to have urban buses to take you to the city centre. Everything else was just great.

  Liked: First thing is Virgina, that was accecible and easy to communicate with. The property is in a middle of an olive grove, with an amazing view to the west, so the sunsets are amazing. The pool is 140 cm, so kids would enjoy it, and the surroundings grass area is big enough to have privacy. The rooms are big and comfortable, each with a bathroom, the kitchen is equipped with everything we needed, and the washing machine was an important addition when we considered booking the property. The road is a bit tricky, so pay attention to the turns, it is part what makes this place a spacial hidden spot, so close to an urban area.

  Disliked: We had to leave early, and wanted to stay more.

  Perfect place to Relax and enjoy the scenery

  Liked: Virginia was super flexible. Our flight was delayed till almost midnight and she stayed up all night waiting for us staying in touch via WhatsApp. We had 2 cars, so even got a 2nd key for the gate! superb

  Disliked: Everything was fine. perhaps allowing drinks at the pool would be nice.

  We had a really nice stay

  Liked: The location is beautiful and perfect to visit Viterbo and around. The property is really beautiful and the host very kind. The appartement is well furnished, including the kitchen.

  Disliked: The sofa bed of our appartement was ok for young kids but not confortable enough for us adults.
