  Outstanding stay in all respects

  Liked: This is a family run hotel and it shows. The team really cares about the guest experience. They are super helpful and go the extra mile to ensure a good stay. My son and I arrived on bicycles, they provided excellent and secure parking. Breakfast was the best we had across an extended trip. The roof garden was a great place to enjoy a drink on a sunny afternoon. We will certainly stay here again when we next visit Tuscany.

  Nice place to stay in charming Volterra

  Liked: Perfectly located within the walls of old town, but very close to the parking garage, this hotel offers good breakfast, has charming cafe on the rooftop that has access to the park. On the request, they settle us in a quiet room, to cut the noise of a street. Our stay was very pleasant.

  Disliked: Due to the constraints of ancient building, the bathroom was tight and had a couple of steps down leading into it.

  Great location, friendly staff and very clean

  Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful. The entire place was very clean. It’s in a great location right in old town. The place had a lot of charm.

  Disliked: It’s nothing to do with the property itself, but like all the places in Tuscany, there are lots of steps to maneuver getting to and in the property. There are many steps getting to the hotel from the parking area and depending on where your room is located you can have 4 flights of steps to deal with to get to your room.
