  Villa Rufino Review

  Liked: The staff were lovely the villas and surrounding areas very well kept. The pool was lovely and very quiet. I liked the area felt secure with shutters and was gated at night. The views were amazing.

  Disliked: Wifi was a nightmate kept dipping out. I had some work to do whilst I was there and couldnt do it. The walls are very thin and the noise carries.

  Liked: Lovely quiet location. Spacious rooms. Close to albufeira, a short drive or bus ride. Close to the beach. Really clean and tidy.

  It was great but the tennis courts were the only mediocre thing

  A fantastic family stay - would happily return

  Liked: We spent two weeks at Villas Rufino with our two teenage daughters and loved almost everything about it. The location is superb: a quiet, safe neighbourhood in Galé/Sesmarias, yet within a short drive of some of the best beaches on the coast and surrounded by excellent restaurants within walking or minutes’ distance. • Brilliant location — peaceful but close to everything • Big, great pool that never felt overcrowded • Friendly, helpful staff • Lovely community atmosphere — our teenage daughters made plenty of friends, which made the holiday for them • Cleaning almost every day, which is rare and very appreciated A genuinely relaxing, family-friendly base. We’d recommend it to anyone travelling with kids.

  Disliked: No washing machine in the units (there’s a paid laundry service, and a laundromat a short drive away, but worth knowing for a longer stay) The nearest beach collects seaweed and has rocky access — but the excellent Praia da Galé is only a few minutes away by car
