  Liked: One of the few hotel in the area. It at the center of Alcobaca, next to the Monastery which serves also as its view. While it might not strike you as a ''luxurious hotel'', its pretty decent. The rooms are very spacious and very clean, athough we would prefer to have a tile flour instead of the flour carpet. They offer free parking areas, and paid closed area if you prefer more protection from the weather with an addiition of 8€ per day. Breakfast while minimal is of good quality again with a nice view to the Monastery. All in all a good hotel if you want to stay in the area.

  Great location, nice room, but hotel lacked soul and staff needed to be more welcoming

  Disliked: Arrived before 4pm which was booking in time. Rather late. It was obvious the hotel was not fully booked far from it, but had to come back and book in 4/4.15. Hotel was very clean, but felt soul less. Staff member at breakfast was not friendly. Staff generally seemed very surly. Bedroom and breakfast room were very sparse, just functional.,

  Would recommend this hotel

  Liked: Excellent location, helpful staff and very good breakfast. Superb view on a he monastery from the breakfast room.

  Disliked: A bit noisy in the corridor early morning. The bacon could be more crispy.
