Exceptional
Perfect for families, exceptionally clean and cozy
Liked: An amazing guesthouse! It is impeccably clean, and the atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable, making it a wonderful place to stay with children. The staff is incredibly friendly and warm, always making you feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious too. We will definitely come back here again.
Wonderful stay at Farol Guesthouse
Liked: Wonderful small inn / hostel. The rooms are not huge, but very comfortable. The breakfast every morning is truly very nice. You can use the kitchen for making your own meals if you're interested. The kitchen is very well set up.
Disliked: The shower was a little too small.
Great place to stay near Angra city
Liked: Everything is new and decorated nicely, the breakfast was very fresh and homemade. The staff is very helpful, they washed and dried our clothes for us which saves a lot of time while traveling.
Disliked: The small fridge in the room was working loudly during the night but it’s not necessary to use it as they provide breakfast. You can feel there’s a lot of humidity in the house even though we were visiting in dry season, however there is no mold or bad smells.
Beautiful B&B and we would come back tomorrow!
Liked: Beautiful guesthouse with lovely staff. Spacious and clean room and lovely outdoor veranda. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and freshly laid out. Location is great, we loved this town, such friendly people and beautiful surroundings.
Disliked: Nothing, everything was great,
Liked: We loved the guesthouse. The owner went the extra mile by preparing breakfast to go for us on two occasions, which we really appreciated. The breakfast served at the guesthouse was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from.
Disliked: We expected a quieter experience in a small town like São Mateus, but unfortunately the traffic on the main road passing directly by the guesthouse was quite noticeable. It was sometimes noisy and the exhaust fumes were also unpleasant, which took away somewhat from the otherwise pleasant stay.
5 stars stay. Staff super welcoming, location hyper clean and breakfast amazing!
Liked: Very good location, really close to the port and super well kept and managed
