Exceptional
Disliked: There was a rooster somewhere nearby that woke us up each morning at 5am, then you have to close your windows in order to get some more sleep.
Liked: Cozy, well equipped, „stay at home“-feeling in the common room areas. Good breakfast! At the same time super close to the city, perfectly located fo sightseeing, shopping and groceries/rstaurants. Rooms are tidy, beds are comfy. We enjoyed it a lot!
Disliked: Kitchen should be cleaner
Liked: Beds are comfortable, with fairly good breakfast. Shared bathroom is Ok.
Disliked: third floor, difficult for carrying heavy luggages. Very small room, no chair and table.
I would definitely stay at here again when we return to Teceira again
Liked: Quick and easy communication with the owners, great walkable location, very comfortable bed, cute quaint room with attached bathroom, felt like a home, loved Mevlida-kitchen/housekeeping staff. She greeted us with a smile every morning, fun conversations and made sure we were taken care of. Plentiful breakfast included. Easy free street parking available.
Disliked: Unfortunately the hot water broke during our stay. We were given an option to shower in an attached apartment that wasn’t affected by the break.
Great stay & great value for money
Liked: I stayed in a private room with a private bathroom (located outside of the room with a separate key). The room & bathroom were very comfortable and clean. Sancha and the staff were very accommodating as I arrived earlier than usual check-in time and the room was ready. Similarly, to check out, I needed to leave my luggage (there is a cupboard to leave luggage near reception) so they arranged my access for the afternoon. The check-in/check-out process is easy too, with clear instructions sent via email in advance. The breakfast selection is good, including some local/homemade items too! Overall - excellent value for money.
Disliked: If staying facing the street you may hear some street noise e.g. vehicles passing/roadworks, but this is during the day and I didn't have a problem with this during the evening.
