  We loved the town and found the hotel extremely clean and staff very friendly, we would recommend this hotel

  Liked: The hotel is in an excellent location and stands beautifully along side the river.

  Disliked: We had received a message several days before our arrival requesting a check in time, although we advised before 15.00 which was the advised time recommended we were told the room wasn’t ready and had to wait another 40 minutes 😔 Also considering the cost of the hotel and spa I was surprised to be asked to pay £10 for a swimming cap which they insisted we had to wear.

  Liked: Lovely hotel. Great location just a short walk across the bridge to the town. Great parking on site. The spa was amazing. Friendly staff. Very helpful.

  Liked: TUDO, excelente hotel Hotel pequeno e acolhedor. Pequeno almoço super completo e diverso. Staff fantástico, prestável e simpático. Localização incrível mesmo no centro de Arcos de Valdevez. SPA muito bom, disponível 24h. Espaços muito bem organizados, bonitos. Quartos super confortáveis, camas muito boas. Tudo de bom!

  Disliked: Não como algo negativo, mas a melhorar, a piscina podia ser ligeiramente mais quente e o banho turco funcionar melhor. Mas de todo que não foram razões que nos fizeram aproveitar menos o hotel.

  A great base to stay while exploring northern Portugal

  Liked: A well appointed hotel overlooking the river in this historic town. Everything to a high standard, as you'd expect from a decent hotel - location, staff, rooms and breakfast. And well worth a stroll around town for the restaurants and the castle.

  Disliked: Would have liked to try the restaurant but it was shut on the night we stayed.
