  Lindo hotel!

Liked: Solar do Requeijo is a beautiful property, with impressive architecture and a very relaxing atmosphere. What we appreciated most, however, was the way the hotel responded when we shared some concerns during our stay. The reaction was immediate and tangible, and we noticed a clear improvement in both the service and attention to guests. A special thank you to Carla Meireles, who handled our feedback with great professionalism, courtesy and genuine attention, and to Kevin Brito, who was consistently kind, attentive and extremely helpful. At check-out, the management personally apologised once again and made a very appreciated gesture towards us, which we had not requested. It showed a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Problems can happen; what really makes the difference is how they are handled. In our case, the staff listened, reacted quickly and made a sincere effort to improve our experience. This deserves to be recognised.

Disliked: During the first part of our three-night stay, some aspects of the service, housekeeping and wellness facilities did not fully meet the standards we expected from a five-star property. However, after we brought these issues to the attention of the management, they were taken seriously and the situation improved considerably.

Liked: O Solar do Requeijão superou todas as expectativas! Recomendo a 100%!

Liked: Everything. The hotel is gorgeous. We were at the end of a nine day trip in the Minho. We never left the hotel. Staff were friendly and took great care of us. We were welcomed with a cool drink; we chose vino verde. The bags awaited us in the room. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Then we dined in the restaurant, a superb meal including foie gras, duck, and cow cheeks and good local wine as well as a local cornbread--don't miss it. Their chocolate dessert "Harmonia" was incredible. The service was terrific, friendly and engaging. Breakfast was also outstanding. We'll definitely return.
