Fabulous
Wonderful staff and stay
Liked: The property was clean and bathrooms well kept, rooms were comfortable and shared spaces clean. The thing that really set this place apart was the staff. SO kind, incredibly helpful, and truly made you feel at home.
Good but could be better
Liked: Interesting building with nice vibe. Location is fantastic.
Disliked: Dorm beds could be less noisy and should have curtains. I had no shelf by the bed or seat, which is useful when you're in a top bunk..
Pleasant
Liked: The location, the staff, the overall vibe. Big common areas.
Disliked: Before booking check the photos of the rooms and make sure you're fine with the layout. The top floor has a tilted ceiling and if you're tall you can hit your head.
Disliked: The room was an oven.The side window didn’t open. The ceiling window was closed. The staff person said the AC was broken. The staff person opened the ceiling window and the person in the bed directly under it closed it after they left. There was a fan in the room I turned on 2 patrons complained it made to much noise. One of the complainers proceeded to snore all night which we couldn’t turn off. Ceilings were cut at an angle so kept hitting my head.
Nice for ‘home’ feeling
Liked: Location, layout of the building. Share kitchen, very cosy and well organized
Disliked: I was in a bunk bed, when the person on top was moving it wasn’t pleasant. Although was a shared room with a bathroom everything was too tight and no privacy or comfortable private space. It was more pleasant to go out of the room and just use the ‘all people’ shared big bathrooms
