Very helpful host - Welcomed us in person and answered any queries quickly
Liked: Location - quiet but easy access to everything. Fully equipped - everything needed for a family stay.
Disliked: Showers small. Uncomfortable sofa.
Cute town and comfortable stay
Liked: We had a really comfortable and spacious 2 BR/2BA. It was great to have a washer and a drying rack to catch up on laundry. The location was right in the heart of everything in the town. It was a very cute town and great stop on our drive up the Portugal coast. Make sure to try the Aveiro "tortillas" with chocolate, cheese, or both! Delicious!
Disliked: We were there on a weekday, and the town does pretty much shut down right after dinner time (about 8 pm). The facilities though were great.
Nice location and clean, but moldy smell
Liked: The property and the owner were lovely. However, their was a distinct mild odor through the house. I have asthma and became very ill, coughing, itching and having difficulty sleeping due to my nose running. Fortunately, I had brought my rescur inhaler. My daughter also had an allergic reaction to the place, even though she does not have asthma. Otherwise, the place is nice and in a great location.
Disliked: The soil boxes that emitted a strong moldy smell. It caused me serious respiratory issues.
Liked: The entire building, with two levels, two bedrooms and bathrooms. Very comfortable and cozy. The location is good. It was quiet at night.
Liked: Great location and great host. Made best use of our time in Aveiro.
