Beautiful building overlooking canal
Liked: The building is beautiful and the location is great, the bedrooms spacious and bright; the balcony over the canal was wonderful. There is no living room, but we spent most of our time out and around so didn’t miss it. The owner was very kind and allowed us to leave our luggage at the property before check in and after check out.
Disliked: Prime location can be noisy late into the night.

Liked: Location and the fact that it’s an exemplar Art Nuveau building.
Disliked: The bathroom is way too compact. The toilet was practically unusable.

Liked: The location is very convenient and was definitely one of the main advantages of the apartment. The host was friendly and responsive. Check-in was easy and communication with the host was good. The bed and bed linen were clean and comfortable, which made sleeping very pleasant.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the apartment is not very well maintained and would benefit from some renovation and more attention to detail. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. The bathroom in particular looked quite worn and could use better maintenance. The toilet seat was damaged and should be replaced. There was also a coffee machine, but no coffee capsules were provided, so we could not use it. This was a little disappointing.

Liked: WOW, WOW AND WOW. The views of the canal and the vibrant gondolas will blow your mind. The ample apartment, has room for 6 couples, 12 people and with three full bathrooms, something rare in Europe. In this apartment you will have the city at your doorsteps, everything you need will be right there. Those of you with severe mobility issues, this place is not for you. As for the rest you will definitely ENJOY your stay at this LOVELY decorated apartment in the heart of one of my favorite Portuguese cities.
Disliked: The stairs, but the rest was more than PERFECT!!!!!!
Liked: Perfect location, spacious and so much more space, in a historic buildings
Disliked: Nothing, all was great
Liked: The location is great, lovely view of the ria! Close to the town and local amenities. The old building is so beautiful and loved the Art Nouveau style, balcony doors, and the room we had was very comfy.
Disliked: Sometimes, there was a fair bit of noise from the street which disturbed our sleep quite a lot at the weekend - some soundproofing/thicker windows could help. The balcony door was broken and this would move the door in the wind. We had an annoying encounter with the repairman and manager of the property, as we were trying to get ready, and they were trying to fix our windows lock. They were still in our room as we left for the day, which made us feel slightly uneasy leaving our items whilst other people had access to our room. The cleanliness of the kitchen could be better - as vegetarians, the meat being stored at the top of the fridge constantly was a bit of a no.
