  Great location, cool to be able to support local arts. And good value for money

  Liked: Wonderful to have good, comfortable accommodation in a great location while supporting an initiative that promotes the arts.

  Where past history creates new memories!

  Liked: I had read a bit about this property but upon arrival, Teresa provided such an engaging tour of the history! What a GEM and a story about Vasco Branco's life and residence is so reminiscent of Portugal. It was a great stay and have already recommended to others! Thanks for continuing to keep such a local part of history vibrant by creating a boutique hotel.

  It was an amazing stay

  Liked: I loved the history of the house. Lili gave us a tour of the artist work. We were able to drop our bags before check in. The place was located close to everything.

  Liked: The location is prime. You can easily walk everywhere from there.

  Disliked: When I made the booking, my responsibility, I did not realise that it was a shared house with shared toilet and not separate rooms with private toilet. For those who don't mind sharing, wont be an issue. The door keys of the room had an issue and couldn't be easily open/closed. I was charged extra 5 eurs for late check in but I was stood up for 30min, and I arrived late at night. If they gonna charge extra, at least be on time.

  Wonderful place if you're on a budget and want something non-standard

  Liked: I'm here for a second time and it again exceeded my expectations! I had the whole apartment for myself, with a wonderful kitchen, sunny terrase, comfortable living room with a desk to work, a dual bed and large bathroom. All that for so little money, what more can one ask for.

  Disliked: The property is good, however a little improvement on the cleaning and maintainance should be made -- however owners are struggling and doing their best to do these things too!
