Good location, renovated and stylish
Liked: The pool and bar, good breakfast, paid but easy parking
Disliked: The lifts are slow even though there’s only 3 floors of rooms… but it’s a minor detail
Liked: The room was lovely apart from the blocked sink.
Disliked: I was approached when sun bathing by the hotel exec and asked to put my bikini top on as there were children present. I think the family made a complaint. If top less sunbathing is not allowed around the pool a courtesy sign needs to be on the pool entrance to have swimwear worn at all times. VERY EMBARRASSING.
Dissapoining
Liked: Only the location.
Disliked: I made my reservation several months in advance and specifically booked a **Standard Room**, as clearly stated in my booking confirmation, for a total of €95. However, upon check-in, I was assigned an **accessible room for guests with reduced mobility**, which was different from the room type I had booked and paid for. I immediately reported this to the hotel staff and requested the room I had reserved, but I was informed that no Standard Rooms were available and that no alternative could be offered. Due to the time of our arrival, we had no reasonable alternative and were therefore forced to stay in the assigned room. In addition, we experienced significant problems with the bathroom. Water from the shower spread across the bathroom floor and reached the entrance area, while there was also a **strong drainage/sewer smell** that spread into the room. We had to keep the bathroom door closed and open the window to ventilate the room, which considerably affected our comfort. These issues were reported to the hotel staff, and I reiterated our dissatisfaction at check-out. I also have photographs documenting the bathroom conditions and the booking confirmation showing that a Standard Room was reserved. I understand that availability issues can occur, but this should not be transferred to the customer, particularly when the room was booked months in advance. I therefore request that you formally review my case and offer **appropriate compensation or a partial refund** for not providing the room booked and paid for, as well as for the inconveniences experienced during our stay. Please confirm receipt of this complaint in writing. I look forward to your response and to a satisfactory resolution.
