Exceptional
Pleasant short holiday in Coimbra
Liked: It had all necessary facilities (including Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer) in the best location for exploring the old part of Coimbra on foot. Our host organised parking for our car in close proximity and transported us and our luggage from there to Casas da Alegria 🤩
Disliked: Even though it had all we needed, even a desk, the apartment is rather small in area.
Carlos was kind and thoughtful. Picked us up at the bus station and took us back to the bus station after we checked out

Comfy apartment in the heart of historic Coimbra
Liked: Fantastic location in the historic centre, the river and Botanical Gardens. Carlos is a super host, very kind and proud of his city.
Disliked: Nothing
Very central, great host and good value
Liked: Centrally located. Use of washing machine and dryer very useful. The host, Carlos was amazing, picking us up from the train station on arrival and dropping us off at our car hire venue when we left.
Disliked: It felt a bit damp when the air con wasn’t on
Amazing apartment with friendly owner
Liked: This was our favorite place in Portugal. The owner was so incredibly kind and shared recommendations for good food and activities that were great. Cannot say enough nice things about them.
Liked: Great location. Great host. Our third visit.
Disliked: Bed frame is a real toe killer, watch out. Stairs are a bit uneven. Uphill, everything in Coimbra is. Parking is available but remote.
