Fabulous
Good choice in the center of Coimbra
Liked: Comfortable bed, quiet clean room
Disliked: Bathroom did not offer a lot of privacy

Definately a room and not a hotel. The rooms are lovely and cleaned each day if you want but very few other facilities

Disliked: While it clearly states no lift, the third floor is a lot of stairs!

Disliked: The window isolation is not good. Lots of noise on the streets and very difficult to sleep. Few power outlets.
Charming hotel
Liked: The rooms are very large & well-appointed. Charme is very clean & well cared-for. Daily cleaning staff were very helpful. Nice to be able to open windows & enjoy the views (on upper floors).
Disliked: Be advised that due to the historical nature of the building, there is no elevator; be prepared to carry your bags up multiple flights of stairs. Parking is difficult; pay attention to the directions for parking provided by the hotel.
