Fabulous
Our three night stay on a big bike journey across Portugal and Spain
Liked: Our host welcomed us kindly remotely, and was available if / when needed. The house is up a steep hill which was entirely walkable. Fantastic view from kitchen and porch. Comfortable inside, bed was good, and bathroom very adequate, if just a bit on the small side (so tall people may struggle to move, as toilet had to be used on an angle). Washing machine was modern and worked very well. Massive fridge and even and oven which was very clean. Neighbourhood quiet and would love to come again. Thanks to the host.
Disliked: A minor thing is the bathroom could do with a little refurbishing.
Liked: Nice location.
Disliked: The bed was a bit worn out.
Coimbra bolt-hole
Liked: Location. Simplicity. How well Marcio, the host, communicated. It's a characterful building in the heart of the Santa Clara area. 244 bus stop nearby takes you up to the University. Amazing views across the city. The maps in the drawer were very helpful. Easy car parking nearby.
Disliked: It was all good!.
Liked: A good location, comfy rooms, and decently equipped. Good communication.
Disliked: A little noisy due to the student celebrations (nightly music festivals which only occur one week of each year) and steep cobbled road to access the property.
Amazing quiet property with a great view on the river
Liked: The location was clean, all facilities to cook and clean by yourself. Extra towels and bedsheets were offered due to staying longer than a week. The personel was friendly and always replied fast when you texted them.
Everything was good except for the toilet issue
Liked: Great location
Disliked: The wash basin and bench were so close to the toilet, only a five year old could sit there comfortably. I would suggest a smaller basin and bench, or turn the existing one around 90 degrees and up against the shower screen.
