Fabulous
History and beautiful accommodations
Liked: Place was gorgeous 10/10 I definitely recommend it to stay and enjoy the pool. The accomodations were spacious, clean and we were lucky eanough to see the main house, learn about the story of the house and a bit of coimbra.
Disliked: I had a car maybe a description saying to leave the car outside the gates, but that did not ruin the experience and besides the area was safe
Liked: The location, the whole environment, big and comfortable
Disliked: Old beds are nice to see, but not always the best to sleep in.
Good value stop off for us with a great pool
Liked: Nice place to stay in Coimbra. Pool is great for kids. Short drive down to restaurants in town. Plenty of space and all facilities you need.
Liked: Absolutely beautiful premises, house was spacious and well equipped. The pool area is very welcoming and well maintained. Great location with a river beach at a walking distance as well as a supermarket at 4 minutes drive.
Stay at Palace with a pool and explore Coimbra!
Liked: It was very hot in Coimbra during our stay so our children were very pleased with the pool on site. The apartment was spacious with thick stone walls which helped to keep temperature down. At night, there was pleasant breeze if the windows were open. Location is private and quiet. Walking distance to Pingo Doce grocery store and about 30 min from natural river beach. We used car to get to center of Coimbra, but there is also possibility to use public transport.
Disliked: The palace is hosting events during the weekends, therefore there was a tent being erected in the garden next to the pool. Also the site is the process of expansion so there was some noise and dust by the pool.
