Exceptional
Comfy and a great location
Liked: The location is central. The beds were comfortable. I had a choice of pillows. Memory foam pillows were found in the closet. They set up the 5th floor breakfast room for the afternoon and evening with tea coffee and sweets. Wine glasses and bartenders opener were available to toast the sunset from the terrace. The staff were amazing especially Reuben.
Disliked: I struggled to find fault. If you value complete privacy when in the bathroom one might find it a challenge.
Beautiful bespoke hotel offering a great location, fabulous rooms, great breakfast and friendly staff
Liked: Handy location to shopping, restaurants and attractions. Fabulous breakfast, friendly staff, beautiful spacious room with wonderful unusual styling
Disliked: Nothing
Mixed feelings
Liked: Location Interior design Terrace at the top
Disliked: - we had booked the first night for €145. As we wished to stay another night, the boy receptionist on duty 15th October, could only give it to us for € 200 when we knew the hotel was not full. Not commercial. - when we left on 17th October, the girl receptionist on dury at 2pm prevented us to wait in the bar on the roof pretending there were cleaning it. Which was not true as I checked. We had to wait for one hour in the very small reception.
Liked: Easy to reach and in the historic area Coffee and sweets are available all afternoon
Liked: We loved absolutely everything! This hotel was easily the best hotel we've stayed in. As book lovers, we absolutely loved the decoration of the room of course but we also loved how comfortable we felt straight away. The staff was incredibly friendly and useful. The self-service breakfast was amazing too. We will definitely come back!
Disliked: Nothing!
