  Good apartment but hard walk up with luggage

  Disliked: This was a fourth floor walk up. We had not realised this. Parking worked out okay in the end but was a little tricky to find somewhere to leave the car.

  Liked: We had a lovely stay at this very cozy and beautifully furnished apartment in the heart of Coimbra. It’s full of charming little details and has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The apartment is very quiet, and the views of the old town from the balcony and window are simply amazing. It’s easy to find, and the host provides very clear and helpful instructions.

  Great stay! The stairs turned me into an accidental athlete

  Liked: A very cosy apartment with beautiful city views and thoughtful decoration. I absolutely loved staying here. It’s perfect for couples, especially if you enjoy having breakfast on the balcony. The bedside charging spots are well designed, with dedicated space for phones. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

  Disliked: The stairs!!!! What a cardio workout. The Booking.com filter shows that parking is available, but there is no on‑site parking. The nearest option is a paid covered car park, which can get quite expensive, especially in the morning due to the nearby Metrobus construction. Communication could have been more responsive. I booked in advance but kept receiving messages from Booking saying the reservation wasn’t confirmed until the day of arrival, so I had to reach out myself. After check‑out, I also sent a message about an issue we wanted to clarify to avoid any misunderstanding, but I didn’t receive a reply.
