  Best Place to stay in Covilha

  Liked: You could tell by some very nice small details that the owner/ staff care about giving a good service. Staff were excellent throughout the stay.

  Disliked: Nothing I can say I didn’t like.

  Great hotel, worth staying in the center of Covilha old town

  Liked: Breafkast was nice with a variety of choices. Location was great in the center of the old city, with nearby parking. Nice size rooms. Staff was really friendly. Moderately priced, though the cost of the dog (EUR 20 per night) was a bit steep in my opinion. All in all, I would stay again.

  Disliked: When we stayed, breakfast was at their sister hotel and there was no reception at the hotel itself. All the staff are based in the nearby hotel, which is nearby and you can always call them for assistance. It was a small inconvenience but not too bad. The toilet didn't have a bidet. Could also modernise the keys, they still used old fashioned ones, which are a pain if they are lost. Also no lift if you need to go upstairs, and the lighting in the room was too soft.

  Liked: Great location, nice mansion, beautiful rooms, super-clean. Exceptional breakfast.

  Disliked: When we arrived, no one was at the property and we had to wait for 10 mins for the host to arrive. The phone number indicated on Booking.com was not working, no one picked up (the host gave us a different one). Our room was at the very top, I hit my head quite a number of times when walking from the bed to the door.

  Liked: We actually had a free upgrade to their hotel over the road. Garage for bikes, pool and sauna and a breakfast to die for. Pena D’Agua boutique hotel
