Liked: Spectacular drive to the hotel and then from the hotel over the mountains to Coimbre. Views were absolutely amazing. The hotel is fantastic. Loved every minute of our experience there.

  Worth it for the view

Liked: This is a beautiful spot and hotel for those exploring the Parque Natural da Serra da Estrela. I gave it less of a rating for a couple of reasons. The food at dinner was not up to what I would have expected of a place like this, just ok. Breakfast was great however. I had a room with a turret and the space and view were amazing, but the washrooms needed a bit of work to make it a 4 or 5 star place.
