A stay in history
Liked: This hotel, a former 17th-century convent and hospital, had a unique charm. It sat just within the old city walls, so walking to sites, bars, and restaurants was easy. The room was great, and so was the breakfast. A great place to stay if you visit Elvas, Portugal.
Disliked: It was too cool to use the swimming pool.

Liked: From the staff to the facilities, faultless. Absolutely stunning building and location; I only wish we could have stayed a week longer. Restaurant and front-of-house staff, friendly and professional.
Disliked: So little, the overall experience surpasses any shortcomings.

Liked: Great location in beautiful Elvas.
Disliked: Very large room with a a very large bed but rugs on a tiled floor makes it feel very cold! Only one armchair in a huge double room!

Liked: Beautiful hotel, with a historic touch while still maintaining the comfort and luxuries of a modern hotel. The staff were particularly very warm, welcoming and friendly. The location was convenient too.

AN EXCELLENT STAY IN A GOOD LOCATION
Liked: This was our second visit to the hotel and it did not disappoint The room was big and comfortable, car parking excellent and the breakfast was very good. Staff were very helpful. Location is also excellent with a good restaurant 70 metres away, and the main parts of Elvas in walking distance, Simply an excellent stay.
