  Exceptional

  Liked: An absolute hidden gem! Our stay at Monte dos Pensamentos - Turismo Rural was truly excellent. The property is beautiful, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. Because we were traveling on a business trip, we didn't even get the chance to enjoy all the wonderful amenities this place has to offer, but we highly recommend it for any stay—especially for a relaxing vacation. It is perfectly located close to local vineyards and the nearby town of Estremoz. An outstanding experience overall!

  Enjoyable. Lovely area. But a confusing booking. To improve I think you need to be very clear on what is offered

  Liked: It was good except the living area was small and not enough comfortable chairs

  Disliked: Kitchen small with limited work space. Garden not cared for. Sitting area small.. not enough seating. We thought we would be in the big house - the booking was confusing. We did not know that it is really a guest house/hotel rather than a private booking. We did enjoy our stay and it’s a lovely region. Miriam is lovely and so helpful. But I think the descriptions need to be clearer of exactly what is on offer. There were 2 others living right next to our house which we didn’t know about.

  The smell of the flowers and the sound of the birds was hypnotising

  Liked: We were with a group of 7, 3 generations, plus a small dog! Everyone had a wonderful time at the property. The smell of the flowers and the sound of the birds was hypnotising. The bedrooms (with amazing bathrooms) guaranteed privacy, extreme comfort, and (a lot of ) space for everyone. Adding to that, the game house, the garden, and the swimming pool made us all not even wanting to leave the property, we could stay there happily the whole day. The breakfast is excellent, abundant, with good taste and genuine. The ladies that received us were extremely kind. The gardener, the cats and the beautiful house full of history only add to the charm of this property. Estremoz is 10 min away with the car, full of delicious restaurants, so we have not missed having a restaurant in the property. Nonetheless there was the possibility to order snacks if needed. Finally, we had wifi in the rooms but I had to work. I could have used our own living room from our suits but the kind lady let me use the main living room in the main house and not only the wifi was perfect, with the peace and quiet and beautiful light it turned out to be a highly productive work session, even with work calls. I recommend this property to everyone.

  The property had let out the room we had booked, wouldn’t provide 2 rooms instead and put up a camp bed with not offer o

  Disliked: Very dated and you’ll need to drive unless you want to eat sandwiches in your room at night.
