Fabulous
Could have been so much better
Liked: The lady who received us was very friendly and helpful. We did see her only once for 10 minutes though...
Disliked: I hope this comment will be helpful to the property to resolve a few things. I unfortunately have to be honest: The wi-fi is spotty; the pool is tiny and has missing mosaic; there are many potholes in the dirt road leading to the property; doorways are very low and there is a risk of banging heads against them; the creaky metal frame bed was narrow and way too short (maybe put tall people in beds without a metal frame at the bottom); my 1am mosquito hunting session was a necessity; spiders (inside) and wasps (outside) (but you'd expect that on a farm); filter coffee jug had a hole in it and the machine then disappeared from the kitchen; there was no kettle (but I suppose one could boil water the microwave); there was no bin in the room; the bathroom has a very clingy shower curtain surrounding the tiniest shower tray, the toilet didn't flush properly, we could not fill the basin for lack of plug, hot water kept disappearing when showering and there was a bad smell every time we flushed the toilet (unrelated to us).
Tranquil countryside location, Relaxing in a very traditional Portuguese Quinta
Liked: A lovely stay in the rural countryside. A very peaceful night in this typical rustic Quinta which is full of traditional style. Very comfortable bedroom with a shared lounge and kitchen area with two other guest rooms. It was so restful after 2 days of sightseeing nearby Evora is absolutely beautiful loved it! The quinta is a few minutes drive from Evora set in farming countryside on a countryside lane. Dog friendly and Isabel is a great host!
I don't often write reviews, BUT this place did not meet our expectations
Liked: Of the pluses: price, it's pretty clean and tidy here.
Disliked: 1) bathroom - in the description it is written that it is own, and, it is really your own, since only you go to it, BUT, it absolutely does not belong to your room, it's just a separate room in another part of the common house, and every time I need to go to the toilet or bathe, I need to walk through common areas, people, it's uncomfortable, inconvenient, when you choose housing with your own bathroom, it means that it's together with your room, I think it's a little unfair to position this housing. If we had known this in advance, we would definitely NOT have chosen this place. Next, 2) privacy - it doesn't exist, you hear absolutely everything people talk about (NOT LOUD) NOT even behind the wall, but in the room opposite, across the corridor. It's super uncomfortable. Further not super important, but I want to note: the bed is narrow and short, with a height of 1.7 centimeters my legs were hanging down, the two of us are cramped. Staff - 0 friendliness, none, rude. We traveled all over Portugal in 2 weeks, it's the worst place we've ever been
Liked: Isabel is fabulous, and it was so lovely to be out in the country side, yet so close to Evora... It was one of our favourite places that we stayed on our road trip...

Liked: It was very quaint and homely. Exactly what we expected from the description. Isabel was welcoming and lit a real fire which was lovely after we ate outside.
Disliked: I missed the message about which was the best track to take and we took the wrong one. But added to the experience
