Exceptional
Comfortable and relaxing
Liked: Carlos was very accommodating, the breakfast was great, the room was full of character and the bathroom was first rate.
Disliked: Nothing major
Worth considering if you’re staying in Guimeraes
Liked: Excellent communication Excellent breakfast Functional and clean Good location
Great location
Liked: Comfortable rooms wonderful breakfast and super helpful reception staff made this a great stay.
Wonderful stay in a fascinating historic building with welcoming staff. Definitely value for money
Liked: All the rooms are very well designed and located in a fascinating historic building, staff are young, welcoming and available to talk and give advice. Breakfast is good with local pastries, fresh fruit, local ham and chorizo, a fantastic orange juice. And the rooms are not expensive, definitely value for money. Location is at a walkable distance to the main squares of Guimaraes (which is not a big city anyway).
Disliked: I loved everything. If I have to say something, maybe cappuccino seemed to be made with chocolate rather than coffee and if there are many guests potentially people have to wait for their breakfast because there are not many tables in the breakfast hall. But honestly I really liked the place.
This is a Porto gem❤️
Liked: Fabulous location for getting to everywhere, or for staying close by and enjoying Porto fully, right there! Exposed stone walls and coordinating decor were lovely- handy to have a kitchenette and two separate bedrooms (with comfy beds).Responsive caring host (provided a crib for the baby) Close coffee, bakeries, suppers, live music and high quality Fado nearby. A gem!
Disliked: The kitchen electrical was a little tricky- maybe a sheet of instructions for coffee, cooktop, oven would help.
Liked: Small but Comfy room, clean room and bathroom, comfy bed.
Disliked: Not many heathy options for breakfast. Mostly sweets. Milk in coffee machine is with sweetener. No cosmetics in bathroom
