Liked: Very central localisation while very quite.
Disliked: quality as expected
Liked: Beautiful building, location is super practical in the historic centre of Guimarães, with very friendly staff and convenient parking next to the hotel; however, parking spots are limited, so you might need to park in nearby parking garages if they are taken.
Disliked: The hotel is getting on a bit now; the bathrooms and rooms could do with an upgrade, but the beds are comfy, which is the most important thing. Since the building used to be a bank, the Wi-fi is not the strongest in the hotel, probably due to the very thick walls, so a thing to keep in mind.
Liked: Perfect location. Nice breakfast included. Wonderful bed and bedding. Large room. Lovely old building. Staff, particularly Victor, were helpful. He is a wonderful representation of why people should love this city. Enjoyed the interaction with retired woman. In the lobby.
Disliked: Paid for balcony but in this historic building that did not mean I could open the doors and sit out.
Liked: The bed is fantastic, friendly staff
Good value hotel in a central location
Liked: Good location and decent buffet breakfast
Disliked: Bathroom could have been cleaner - a few stray hairs around which is never good. Tea and coffee making facilities were not available in the room which was disappointing. Due to a delayed flight I only spent a total of 10 hours in the hotel so hard to form a full opinion
Liked: Individual hotel. Great location. Large comfortable bed.
Disliked: Breakfast didn't reach the standard of the rest of the hotel.
