Exceptional
Liked: This was a surprisingly little gem of an apartment. Very quirky, spacious, and comfortable. A Breakfast basket was brought to the room which was great. Staff very nice and friendly. Great value for money. Good location.

My friends and ourselves agreed that it was a great place to stay and the city was perfect for us
Liked: We traveled with friends and requested a 2 bedroom suite. Our suite had 2 very spacious bedrooms, a living room, dining area and a fully functioning and well stocked kitchen. Everything was luxurious and comfortable. We loved the city of Guimaraes and Guimagold was ideally located to explore both the city and the Duoro Valley.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike. The local restaurants were fabulous, Guimagold was ideally located, the suite was incredibly comfortable, roomy and elegant.
I would recommend Guima Gold to anyone, they will love it
Liked: This is one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in. We stayed four nights. From the moment we entered and the receptionist was so friendly. All of the staff were the same. The apartment was the cleanest I have ever stayed in. There was attention to detail everywhere. Washing machine, cooking facilities, coffee making machine, even remote controlled blinds operated from the bed panel, not one thing had been forgotten. There was even a separate little lounge area with a pull out bed if needed. They delivered breakfast in a basket to our door every morning and it was full of delicious foods. The location was perfect. A few minutes walk from the medieval square and about 10 mins walk to the Castle. We visited a wine farm and the owner went over and above to show my husband and I his vineyard and my husband tasted the wines. It is also near enough to walk to the cable car. Guimaraes itself was really a wonderful find. Weather perfect the whole week. In short a wonderful time.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing I didn't like. I could not find one fault with Guima Gold.

An excellent boutique hotel in a great location
Liked: The location was perfect. The room was perfect. Super clean, lots of storage, setup to feel like you could live there. Complete kitchen with dishes. The continental breakfast was delivered to your room. Overall one of the best places we have stayed at. It also had an elevator for those who can’t do stairs.
