Exceptional
I really enjoyed my stay and woukd go back
Liked: Fantastic position with parking very nearby. Nice intimate atmosphere. We were given an early check in which was really appreciated. Nice staff.
Disliked: They were a bit slow and disorganized at breakfast. For example it took ages to get a cappuccino even though they weren’t busy. There were no bowls for the cereals and fruit even though they weren’t busy. Having said that breakfast was very nice as was the cappuccino.

Liked: Location was great, in the historic centre. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
Disliked: We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evenings, it seemed empty and not competitive with the many restaurants around it.
Nice but I wouldn’t go again
Liked: New and modern.
Disliked: The room had spit of wide heavy windows and no heavy black out curtains. We had to opal the windows to close the shutters and then one window wouldn’t close as it was faulty. My sons room was very noisy as people were all drinking in the square until 4am
Perfect hotel in a perfect location
Liked: Perfect located upper class hotel, helpful and nice staff and breakfast in a Michelin restaurant - all located perfectly to all there is to see and do in Guimaraes.

Please note that the hotel is located on a pedestrian street and the car parking is 492 feet from the hotel, by foot, next to the Guimarães City Hall, in Rua do Condestável Nuno Álvares Pereira, a dead-end street parallel to the City Hall of Guimarães. Please inform security that you are accommodated at the Hotel da Oliveira.
