Peaceful comfortable cottage. Highly recommend!
Liked: Loved the gardener’s cottage, the grounds and the location. Also close to the lift( gondola) that takes you to Guimaraes.

Liked: Amazing historic property with beautiful and extremely comfortable rooms. Lovely garden and satisfying breakfasts. Had a magical feel. Is much easier to access with a car.

Absolute gem
Liked: An absolute gem. Beautiful houses. Exceptionally clean. Use of a kitchen and living room. The lovely gardens and proximity to Penha. Great breakfast.
Disliked: We were sold the idea of breakfast on the balcony with the sounds of the wind and birds. Unfortunately the gardener also chose this time to use the leaf blower for the whole breakfast pretty much ruining a beautiful setting. Bad luck in the day perhaps.
Absolute delight of a stay in the most stunning fairy tale
Liked: Everything. The gardens the food the staff the room the towels the house the parking. Zero faults it’s spectacular

Interesting restored classic homes for its rooms - It's a bit hard to find, however
Liked: The person tending the property was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was also very nice.
Disliked: We had difficulty finding the property, driving our own car. It was not marked from the road, so we depended on our navigation devices. However, once we had found the property, we could not easily tell which building to enter to find the office - so we tried them. Once in, we were well taken care of. Another issue (for us) was the floor-to-ceiling glass panel between our bedroom and the bathroom - giving the person in the bed full view of the bathroom area. Apparently, this was a design choice - but it would have been helpful to have a curtain that could be drawn across the view.
