  Convenient spot next to the ocean

  Liked: Lovely spacious apartment! Very clean and has every amenity you need, a fridge, washing machine, hairdryer. Just a couple steps from the ocean and the staff were lovely! Plenty of beautiful hikes nearby, lots of lovely bakery’s and less than a 10min drive to Machico! We also had an early flight so this spot was perfect!

  Disliked: The neighbourhood can be quite noisy at night, as there are a few bars next door and the neighbours dogs were barking a lot. The apartment itself was perfect.

  Not the worst but not good either

  Disliked: The location is fine, but unfortunately the apartment does not match the photos shown online. The place was not fully clean, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen cabinets. There were no proper duvets provided – only a rather uncomfortable blanket. The apartment was also very cold. The photos on Booking show nice views, but the apartment we received had a view of a roof and some run-down buildings, which was very disappointing. The manager tried to explain that we had booked a cheaper option, but that option had the same description as the one presented online, so it felt misleading and unfair. Overall, I feel disappointed and would not recommend this place.
