  Liked: The villa is very spacious and has the "wow" effect. There's everything you can possibly need from all the appliances in the kitchen, laundry room, inflatables for the pool, games room and lovely views. It feels very private with no neighbours. The JBL speaker was a great addition as well. The master bedroom is absolutely amazing with balcony, walk in wardrobe and massive bathroom. We also liked the overall design, especially the stone tiles in the bathrooms. Having a shower and toilet which you can access from the pool area was great too. Another great thing about this villa was that outdoors dining table and sofa is under the roof so you can enjoy being outside even if it rains. Lots of trees and plants around the villa and especially pool area made it feel like you're in botanical garden. It's only 10 min drive from the airport and 15 min from Machico village. The whole villa has fencing around it making it feel very safe. The open living area is very spacious and has underfloor heating. The pool is quite deep at the far end so we did a lot of jumping and diving. Overall, a really nice villa!

  Disliked: Some of the lights didn't work (in the master and shared bathroom above the mirrors) but that's a minor thing as plenty of other lights in these rooms. The fireplace had handles removed so we couldn't use it. As a recommendation, I would suggest a few blankets for people to use when sitting outside in chilly evenings.

  Personal paradise for a great price

  Liked: The villa itself is gorgeous. The swimming pool is fantastic and is supplied with various floating tubes which are great for lounging around in. The entire building is spacious and the beds were all great. Bedrooms have built-in air conditioning. The views from the garden and swimming pool are great, especially at a starry night. The kitchen is well supplied with appliances and herbs, so you have plenty of options for cooking or preparing a breakfast, lunch, diner. When we reported a small malfunction on the gate it was fixed the same day.

  Disliked: There's various minor maintenance issues, a cracked strip on a kitchen drawer, loose doorhandles and more like that. At night, when the wind is blowing you might hear an annoying sound, most likely coming from a loose bolt somewhere on a roof appliance. All very minor issues as far as we were concerned.
