Exceptional
Nice and peaceful location to stay
Liked: Location very close to airport, 5 mins drive. Easy to get to other parts of island from here and was a peaceful and quiet base
Disliked: Property was not ready near check in time was a little inconvenient. However, Funchal is only 25 min away and we headed there to pass some time which helped get our bearings
Great place to stay but don’t at weekends because if anything goes wrong you are totally left on your own to sort it
Liked: It was very clean and we arrived to a welcome gift
Disliked: Lack of communication with host. We arrived on Saturday. I sent a message that we would arrive approximately 3 pm, I got a response at 8pm that evening that this time was ok. On the guest book, under English language there was no WiFi password or information given, (we later found it by accident under another language section, on Sunday night. I rang both hosts numbers a number of time throughout the weekend and sent an email explaining I needed WiFi for medical reasons but could get no contact. I got a response by email on Monday morning with WiFi details.
Liked: The location was excellent, and the house was gorgeous.
Liked: It was a great stay and very professional service!
Great option for continuous stay
Liked: The apartment is great overall. It's very spacious, fully equipped and has everything you might need for a continuous stay. The hosts were super nice and tried to solve all our inquiries. The location is very convenient to explore the island and also not far a way from Funchal.
Happy with the booking; Everything was perfect beyond expectations
Liked: The house is huge and at a very good location. Just 3 KM from the Airport. We loved the big living room and the entire apartment is stuffed with all the modern utensils and electronics. The view from the balcony is stunning.
