Guest reviews
Exceptional
Perfect location, very spacious
Liked: Great location and amenities, includes parking. The kitchen is stocked and has individual packed condiments, making it super easy. The host was super communicative and gave wonderful recommendations.
Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect.
Liked: Everything was perfect! Would stay here again
Highly recommend
Liked: Beautiful property with great size rooms and super shower. Great kitchen for own catering. Owners very helpful and friendly
Disliked: Walk up back from Machico beach was a doable for us but could be difficult for less fit persons. However plenty of taxis and uber which were generally less than €5
Liked: Very nice house with two bathrooms and two bedrooms. They gave us a typical local cake as a gift and there were capsules for making coffee, tea, everything in short.
Disliked: The only thing I didn't like was the very strong musty smell. We couldn't leave the windows open for long because the window faced the street and there was no grill or screen to block anyone or anything from getting in. This made the house smell very, very stuffy.
Liked: Perfectly clean, spacious renovated appartment with all we could ask for, including bidet showers.
Liked: Room to spread out. Front porch, outdoor space. Excellent restaurant up the road (5 -10 minute walk), Al Forno, highly recommend.
Disliked: Location was far from main town, Funchal - need a car if you plan on staying at this location.
