Good
Liked: Well equipped, quite spacy. Nice outside table and chairs.
Disliked: It is close to the airport, nothing you can change. Aircrafts did not disturb night time.
Bedbugs, left halfway through
Liked: It seemed pretty and charming, up in the mountains, has a little terrace etc.
Disliked: Unfortunately the property was not clean. We started getting bed bug bites after a couple of days and on day 4 while making the bed, we found a fully grown adult bug. We lifted the mattress and found hundred of white bed bugs eggs. We complained to the host and said we needed to leave, find somewhere else, get all our clothes washed on high and buy new luggage. She was willing to refund the days of our stay when we would not be there but not even the entire coat of those days, although she maintained she thought it was a bug from the garden (it was not) and that the housekeeper consistently cleans the place including the mattress. We had to leave immediately and found somewhere else. We have complained to booking. Com and hope they will assist in us getting a full refund. As an aside, we were given one bar of soap to use in the bathroom, none for the kitchen. The property is right next to the airport which is very loud all hours, and is the windiest, rainiest place on the island - obv not the hosts fault but that’s something to note. Only stay here if you get evidence from the host that she has had the place professionally treated for bed bugs by a pest control company.

Cancelled on arrival for a partial refund - terrible
Liked: if you have an early flight to catch and want to stay super close to the airport for cheap for just one night - this can work.
Disliked: the property has one "good room with nice view" and a bunch of very tiny rooms facing the dark garden. I found photos on the listing very misleading - check what are you getting. So I was shocked to discover the "view" from our tiny room. The kitchen is super tiny and we definitely didn't want to eat there - there is no space to turn around. And, of course, there is an Airport noise - lots of it. We knew it would be there but I underestimated how loud it is. Also, you can "walk to the beach and restaurant", but it is definitely not a pleasant walk (30 minutes walk up-down hill along the busy road and little pedestrian infrastructure).
Great place, great host, tiny bit noisy location
Liked: The place is equipped with all you would need. It is spacious, has a seperate kitchen, badroom and living room with a bathroom of course. The terrace is amazing, big and has a good view on the ocean and the airport. There are parking spaces on the street just next to the property, could find an empty space always. The owner was very helpful, I have asked quite a lot of questions, and they answered very quickly and politely.
Disliked: The windows are looking at the street and towards the airport, thus the noise can be a bit bothering. During the night however the airport is pretty quiet fortunately, however noise from across the street, from a bar can be again bothering during the night. We were prepared to it from other reviews already, and had an earplug, which resolved this issue quickly and easily.
Liked: Very close to airport, very beautiful landscape and amazing garder around house
